Term Paper English 2006 Class 9 E - Topic: Big cities
This text helps you to make a good term paper fort he second half-year.
1st Choose a city in an English speaking country. Tell your teacher and make sure, that no other pupil has the same city.
2nd Collect material and pictures from books, travel magazines, and the internet. Don?t forget to mention this in your paper. Give exact information about the book (title of the book, author, pages), magazine (name of the magazine, number of issue, pages) or internet site ( the complete URL and any links you used).
3rd Make sure you have all the formal items: Title page, your name, table of contents, numbered pages, sources of the material see above in 2nd.
4th You have to write about the following things in this order:
- Introduction: Why you chose this city
- Geographic information: where, what country, how many people, what part of the country, weather, ?
- History: how old is the city, what important historical events took place, ?
- Sights: most important and famous sights
- People: famous people, immigrants, minority groups, ?
- Other interesting things: your own choice
- Epilogue: what you think about his city, if you would like to live there, why or why not, ?
5th You have to finish your work till Thursday June 1st 2006 and hand it in on exactly that day or any time before that date.

Note: 1 | eine wirklich gute Möglichkeit Noten zu machen ohne die üblichen Probearbeiten ==> sollten ohnehin mehr neue Formen (Portfolio, ...) der Leistungsfeststellung nutzen;
Idee prima auf andere Fächer übertragbar! |
